FireflyPower™ co-founders Janet and Peter Janiuk were pleased and honored to be invited to a roundtable discussion on North American Energy Independence with Andrew Place, Interim Director at the Centre for Sustainable Shale Development (CSSD), and Robert Orttung.

Mr. Orttung is the Assistant Director of the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.

The afternoon was informative and insightful; the discussion lively with many topics discussed including the shale gas revolution and its effect on renewable initiatives and CCS adoption, as well as Russia’s energy challenges.
